Donations
We have grown from our humble beginnings in 1983, and so has our ability to give back to our community. By supporting local individuals, institutions, and non-profit organizations, we proudly play an active role in the community in which we work and live. All contributions are discretionary, but all requests are given consideration; however, in staying true to our roots and the beliefs of our founder, our principle charitable focus is support for women, youth, and education in Humboldt County.
In order to support a wide range of community requests, we generally limit contributions to one per year.
Donation requests typically come in the form of:
- Cheese to serve at fundraising or other events
- A gift certificate for cheese to be used as an auction item at fundraisers
- Sponsorship of organizations or activities
To request a donation or sponsorship, please use our Donation Request Form. Please note: because the need is so great in our local community, we typically only offer cheese and gift certificates to organizations that are able to pick-up at our Arcata office.
In addition to requested donations, we make unsolicited discretionary monetary donations based on profitability.

- CASA of Humboldt
- Food for People
- Redwood Community Action Agency — Youth Service Bureau
- and more.
