Winter Cheeseboard
Create the perfect winter cheeseboard using seasonal flavors! Think rich, creamy cheeses paired with pomegranate, oranges, roasted nuts, salami, dried fruits, and honey. It’s the ultimate way to bring warmth, flavor, and seasonal cheer to any gathering.
Ingredients
- Humboldt Fog, 4-5 oz wedge
- Meyer Lemon and Honey 4 oz disk
- Midnight Moon, 5.3 oz wedge
- Cheddar, 6 oz wedge
- Hazelnuts, roasted
- Salami (pictured: Olympia Provisions, Saucisson Sec)
- Crackers (pictured: Raincoast Crisp, Hazelnut and Cranberry)
- Fresh fruit: pomegranate, oranges
- Dried orange slices
- Honeycomb
- Garnish with rosemary sprigs
Instructions
Build your board:
- Start with arranging the cheese!
Aim for about 2 oz per person. This board would serve about 8-10 people, but you can easily drop a cheese to make it more appropriate for 6-7. - Add anything large or structured like a jar of jam, honey, olives, pickles, etc.
- Fill in the gaps with a cascading carb (crackers, baguette, potato chips, etc.), sliced fruit, salami, vegetables, nuts, etc.
